Although it tastes awful yet green tea is widely consumed these days. It is the healthiest and the heaviest beverage on the planet. Green tea is made from the Camellia sinensis plant. It can be consumed as a beverage or an extract can be made from the leaves to use as medicine. It is raw material for various beverages, dietary supplements, and cosmetic items. Varieties of green tea are been created in many countries. These varieties can differ due to variable growing conditions and harvesting time.

 

Green tea is used as a medicine for thousands of years, widely used throughout Asia. Excessive consumption seldom leads to harmful health effects but moderate consumption is safe .This beverage has a crowd of uses from lowering blood pressure to preventing cancer.

  4. Research proves that green tea works wonders on the lining of blood vessels, keep them relaxed and helps to withstand changes in blood pressure. Green tea reduces bad cholesterol in the blood and improves the ratio of good cholesterol to bad cholesterol.

These side effects can range from mild to serious. It can cause headaches, nervousness, sleep problems, irritability. Green tea can work dangers for an anaemic, can cause high level of anxiety or irregular heartbeat.
