Everyone knows that a healthy weight means a healthier self, but still there are many more benefits of having a weightless which people usually ignore. Here are a few of them.

The fat especially the belly fat contains cells which release pro-inflammatory elements in the body. Thus the immune system gets busy to fight off supplementary types of inflammation. Thus the risk of problems like arthritis, colitis, dermatitis, etc. increases. People who are having exposure to such genetic problems are having a higher risk. So losing weight releases one from pains, aches, rashes and many other discomforts.

Obesity increases the risk to more than seven types of cancer like breast, kidney, uterine, gall bladder, throat, etc. The risk is up to 40percent more than the risk at a proper weight.

Extra fat nearby the heart and around the blood vessels leads to difficulty in blood flow and thus the heart attack risk increases. An increase of 5 point in BMI increases the probability of death by cardiovascular problems 30 %.

If insulin is generated in sufficient quantity on eating unhealthy foods ,then you only go on getting heavier and heavier .But if the insulin is not generated in required amount ,then the sugar keeps on floating in the body steam for more insulin and thus stays a little too high and long. In the long run the body is unable to make enough insulin, which leads to diabetes. So, eating a healthier food reduces the insulin load and the risk of diabetes as well.

The sleep syndrome described by the discontinuing and beginning of breathing is called obstructive sleep apnea. The severity of this disease is reduced by a losing weight. If the weight is dropped enough, then the ability to easily breathe is observed.

For women the most positive and motivating fact are related to motherhood. Yes, being a healthy mom and giving birth to a healthy child requires your BMI to be in a fixed range.Women having BMI in the range 35-40 have a 23%-43%less chance of being pregnant then those having BMI around 29.During pregnancy, the risk of preeclampsia as well as gestational diabetes is increased on being overweight. The child’s risk of heart problems in later life is also affected.

A longer life needs a healthy weight as well. As per the researches 80 pounds overweight reduces life expectancy by 10+ years. While a 100 pounds overweight reduces it by 14+ years.
