Concealer Color Myth !

We are back to square one with another article on concealers. This time it is nothing but the most important question, as to which concealer you should buy.

‘Concealer’, When this word strikes, you might get many pictures like a pencil, a tube carrying liquid, a twist down lip balm kind of concealer or the one that you use. It is available in many forms styles and colors but which one do you need?

The next time when you go to the store, don’t get bogged down by so many shades in front of you, I am sure you won’t as you would already know which one you need.

Green, The color of prosperity. Yes it is. The concealer in green does the same, it reduces the redness on the skin caused by acne, blemishes. But certainly applying a green concealer solely would make you look ugly. After applying green one, you need to cover it with a neutral shade concealer or one of your own shade.

Yellow. Dark circles are very common to occur among people these days due to the sucking corporate schedules and city traffic as well. Certainly you can not show up with those bags under your eyes. A yellow concealer comes at your rescue. It is mainly used to hide dark circles, the veins showing up, some bruises at times.

Orange. Although tan is the color in trend but dark circles narrow down the look. If you have a dark skin, and you wish to hide the racoon eyes you have, try using some orange concealer. Also, you can use it to hide any other dark spots, sun spots etc.

Purple. You wish to brighten up your skin and people tell you look pale then try the purple one. It will give shine to dull, yellowish complexion.

White. The color of peace. No not here. If you have not slept well last night, you are all puffy eyes then go for a white concealer. Wait a minute, I hope you know how to use it or else you will end up all talcum powder. You got to be a lot specific while applying it, apply subtly over cheek bones, eyes without leaving blots.

Peach. It is great brightening primer for your racoon eyes, it gives an instant glow when you apply it under the eyes. Covering the dark circles is damn important which is why concealers are so important.

Neutral. If you do not find yourself falling in any of the above mentioned categories, then neutral is your color. Go for a neutral shade concealer for a clear skin, a concealer will produce the required shine.
