There are various Indian dishes that you are eating blindly without knowing their serious effect on your health. As recommended by several doctors, one must intake 2000 calories maximum in a day. Even these calories must be divided in such a way that your physique remains perfect. Not only minimal calories are required but also the saturated and unsaturated fats. Increased intake of fats leads to cholesterol problems and lungs disease.

Here are some dishes that you are eating unaware of their calories and adverse effect on heart.

  • “Samosa”: Obviously fast foods are like gold coating on silver that looks good but doesn’t work well. This India snack has taken places in the hearts of Indians from past 50 years, yet it still is in the top favorite list of the foodies. This dish contains 170cal/4 samosa and 2g of fats. Hardly beneficial for your health.
  • “Pilau rice”: Not only Pilau rice but rice itself contains sugar in excessive amount which is harmful for diabetic person. Our one meal definitely has rice in it. This has 203 calories/plate and 3g of fats..
  • “Naan”: This is an Indian bread that is usually eaten with Dal Makhani and onion rings. Alone naan contains 137cal/piece and dal makhani consists of 170cal/bowl. If you eat butter naan than your calories turn into 235/piece and 5g o fats.
  • “Cholle bhature”: This is a Punjabi dish that is served regularly in India. This dish contains of a bhature that has 300cal/piece and the curry served with it that is channa consists of 243 and total dish consists of 650cal and 10.05g of fats.
  • “Chappati”: It is a wheat bread that is consumed in every three meals and one chappati contains 70calories and 0.3g of fats which is acceptable.
  • Gol gappae: An Indian snack that is usually eaten during rainy season. This dish contains 225/10 pieces and 12g of fats.
