How to Increase Height.

Tall is what I want to be.

Rocking the chair at times you might fret what made you so short with height. Why you had to be a short person. Life seems so harsh to a short body who has to face the challenge of finding the right size of clothes, forgetting the clothes they like because they won’t fit in them, alteration is the first thing you do after buying something. Also, the taunts made by the people around. And then your younger sibling who is taller than you, strikes the hammer on this your weak spot every day.

Oh, heels I heard. Can you wear heels every day, every moment? Can you carry heels while trekking a mountain. Well, you know the answer.

Height is a very important factor for our personality. It gives us correct figure or physique. Options in life narrow down to a lot smaller channel for a short person, in terms of clothes, sports and even a few careers which require one to be taller.

A human’s height to a large extent is determined hereditarily. There is a thick chance that if your parents are short, you grow up short heighten. Height is determined by Human Growth Hormone. Other factors are poor health during childhood, low weight at birth, smoking during pregnancy etc.

How to grow taller.

Healthy diet during childhood. It is childhood while we grow the most, till we turn 25. After 25 years of age, it is almost impossible to grow longer because our body stops producing growth hormones. A balanced diet is a must, if all the nutrients are supplied to the body, the bones grow faster. Include foods like green vegetables, potatoes, nuts, saturated fats, liver, chicken, peas and fruits. Milk is a must to take, to provide the required calcium to the bones to grow.

Exercise. You know, how exercise works. When we stretch, jump or move our body in any which way, the muscles get torn and while repairing, they grow. This is how height increases too, move, stretch, the bones will be stretched and you will grow taller. Pull the hanging bars in your garden every day. Stretch the whole body by pulling toes with hands, running etc. Practice yoga under a registered yoga guru. Bhujang asana and tadasana are some of the effective yogic exercises to increase height.

Sleep sound. Sleep is important to charge you for the next day as it is important for your physical growth. Unless body is energised you won’t be able to exercise well.

Vitamin D. Sunlight gives us Vitamin D which helps in secretion of growth hormones. Go for sun bath early in the morning or late afternoon, the ultraviolet rays are low then.
