Makeover Teeth: Shine your smile

Whenever you meet some new people, enters in office or talks to someone, your first impression determines the way of their attention. People generally make their perception on the basis of what they observed. And no doubt smile determines your expression and impression as well. Nothing can be worse than being objected about teeth or gum smell by someone while talking to them. If you lack confidence in public about looks of your smile, then absolutely this is for you. As attractive smile reflects a good impression and confidence, this is good for your social, mental and healthy wellness.

Here are some tips you may apply to get rid of your problem and may gain your smile and confidence back.
1) Brush twice a day:-

Tooth decay seems a major problem of a huge crowd and gum disease is nowhere less in this competition. In case of decaying and gum problems, some major steps to be keep in practice are here-

  • Toothbrushes must be changed after every 3 months.
  • Teenagers with braces should prefer more soft toothbrushes and other oral hygiene. Better to consult your dentist or orthodontist to choose it.
  • If any older member of family is suffering same problem and find it trouble to hold toothbrushes for use in hand, they may prefer electric toothbrush.
     

2) Rinse or chew gum after meals:-

Rinsing mouth with any good antibacterial rinse help to prevent gum and decay problems’ Sugar-free gum can also be prefer to chew after meal, it increases saliva flow which neutralises acids and washes away bacteria from mouth.

3) Block blows to teeth:-

People involved in sports activities should use a good mouth guard. Keep in mind easy field sports can also make mouth injury, so precautions are always to be followed. A good mouth guard is always available in market or visit your dentist for a better reference. Another option is to buy it from sports shops they might have an appropriate one

4) Don’t smoke or use smokeless tobaccos :-

Tobacco and smoking ultimately leads to risk of gum diseases and sometimes oral cancer, better will be not to have any of it. Or if already involved, try to avoid and quit it gradually.

5) Eat smart:-

Eat smart, be smart. A healthy diet is the thing always being preferred to you. Maintain hygiene for better teeth and gum. Have fruits, nuts, grains, green vegetables and milk products in food and other calcium rich food to get strong teeth.

6) Make an appointment:-

Experts always recommend having a dental check-up at least in every 6 months. And you have any problem like gum disease or tooth pain etc, consult your dentist without delay. Prevention is better than cure. Check-up regularly, be safe, and live happy.
