Split Ends

A hair fever which pops out every few months are the ugly, monstrous split ends. It is another talk of the women’s valley, incredibly evergreen a topic to chat.

Hair strands are coated with a protective layer of cuticles, which when wears away indicates the commencement of split ends. Lack of protective layer leads to diminished hair strength, hair fall too. Most importantly, the reasons for wearing away of the protective layer are over washing, exposure to the sun and heat, dust and pollution. Excessive use of hair styling tools, hair styling cosmetics-gels, serums, and sprays include too. Washing hair with excessive hot water. Hairs stay healthy when regularly cut and trimmed, combing is also essential to maintain hair health. Take care of your combs too. Excessive chemical treatments taken on hair like hair colour, perms, etc. Not oiling and showering hair with hard water.

For many like I, split ends are a matter of little concern that depart as and when they arrive because we let the scissors work on our hair. But long hairs are quite in vogue due to which many don’t want to get them cut, so a few pair of split ends cannot diminish their determination to keep their hair long.
