Change your diet:  Food runs your body hence eating healthy is vital. Keep a well-balanced diet to stay energized. Do not hit on fats a lot, take a low-fat diet. Your diet should contain much of fruits because they keep you healthy na d awake too. Green leafy vegetables as mum told during childhood and protein too. To stay high on energy a third of your diet should contain starches and carbohydrates. Take several smaller meals in the day rather than larger ones. Consume high-energy fruit and nut mixes.

Keep yourself hydrated: Drink a lot of fluids in the day, keep yourself hydrated always. Juices made of fruits are a blessing. Water restrains muscle tension. If you run for long distances then have plenty of fluids for you will get thirsty later.

Workout: choose an exercise that you love, any activity that you have been wondering to do. Join a swimming pool nearby you or get yourself a cycle to ride. If you are morning person then go the park every morning. Practice yoga, run a few lapse in the ground. Include some breathing exercises too. If time is an obstacle for you, you work a 12 hour job and travel a lot then just get out of the sometime and walk for 20 -30 minutes. If you are a home maker and kids don’t give you any time then go out with them when they play and do some physical activity.

Aim: any physical activity but done with regularity will not yield any benefits. You walk 30 minutes one day in a week and then keep lazing around for the rest of the week would not get you anything and later you blame the concept. Be regular, get yourself an aim. Put in half an hour at first, follow this until it becomes your habit. Then increase the time. If you are into heavy workouts then keep a track of your muscle build up, breathe time, heart rate etc.

Don’t keeping lazing around: Stay active, don’t be a couch potato. Always stay involved in some or the other physical activity. If you get bored change the activity. Keep an eye on your aim too and walk accordingly. Get others involved with you so that it becomes fun. Workout relieves you from stress.

Sleep: give yourself enough rest too. If you keep working day in and day out, you will eventually reduce your strength. Get yourself at least six hours of sleep. One day of sleep out will make two more days miserable for you.
