Tips for Cleanse and Moisturize

In a world in which we use our fingers and their tips so much, be it on a computer’s keyboard or a touch screen, without pity, it’s high time that we pay a little attention to them as well. By paying attention we don’t want you pay regular visits to salons or parlors and get your pedicure and manicure done regularly. We know everyone’s busy and with the clock ticking so fast, a visit to the parlor is certainly not what we can opt for. But excessive over-burdening our tiny fingertips might render us helpless in later stages of life.

We might not understand the necessity to keep our fingertips healthy, but just like skin care and hair care; one should also care towards one’s fingertips as well. This counts as personal health and hygiene too. Here are a few on-the-go techniques for a home pedicure/manicure:

Cleanse:

  • Nail polish/color is something all of us are in for. But you must first remove excess nail polish or any nail color that is smeared on your nails using a nail polish remover or you can also opt in to scrub out the remnants using a mild scrub. Cleaning your nails regularly is another key to healthy fingertips.
  • Soak your fingertips in warm water. You can also add a pinch of salt to the warm water before you soak your fingertips for they act as an excellent anti-bacterial and anti-septic which helps cleanse the tips of any micro-orgasmic activities.
  • Yellowing of the finger and toe nails is also one of the most persistent problems. This is due to fungal or bacterial infection. We use our finger tips each and every second to touch almost everything around us; this might as well lead to the infection of the cuticles and the nails. Soak them in an equal mixture of warm water and apple cider. This will help in completely cleansing them of all infections.

Moisturize:

  • Moisturizing is as equally important as cleansing ones fingertips. Too much pressure can render one’s hand dry and rough. Soak them in a bowl of warm water with honey or olive oil which for around 20-30 mins. This will soften the fingertips and moisturize them.
  • Not only on the outside, intake of food rich in Vitamin-E also plays a major role in taking care of one’s finger/toetips. This also includes food rich in germ oil, sunflower oil, etc. And direct intake of fruits like pumpkin, avocado and papaya are also essential.
  • You can also smear your finger tips with almond oil every night before bed. This will moisturize and lubricate the finger/toetips and also render them shining with lot of healthy glow.

Don’t forget to use a clean, fresh towel to wipe your hands every time after following the above mentioned tips. Hope our easy and time-efficient home remedies helped you realized that it’s not really that difficult to maintain healthy finger/toetips.
